Pizza is one of my favorite foods. Even if it's bad, it's good! I didn't want to eat pizza today, but I had a bowl of canned tomatoes sitting in the fridge and some leftover homemade mozzarella that needed to be used before it went bad. Also, my mom gave me a Basil plant as a christmas present that I was dying to use.
This is a very simple pizza recipe, with nothing special going on except for the homemade mozzarella and the fresh basil. The dough came out of a bag. I love those small pizza dough baggies they sell at the store, that you just mix with a little water and it's ready to use. It's the perfect serving for just two people and I don't have to measure anything. Comes out perfect every time!
It ended up being absolutely delicious.
